At first, when my friend Kathleen e-mailed me and asked if I’d seen the Kentucky Derby on TV, I thought she meant horses. But later, I realized I had missed the word “turtle” in there! What she really wrote was: “So, did you see the KY Turtle Derby on TV?” I quickly did an internet search and found it on youtube—and it was so much fun! We also often feature turtle races at our Turtlesinger Shows as pictured on the previous page with Rocky, Gracie, Bart, and Spike, and pictured to the left with Bart crossing the finish line.
