Big Bite





Gracie went right for her clementine cake as soon as we blew out the candles and took away the cupcake liner!


Gracie is sitting next to The Birthday Turtle, which waddles along and plays a recording of kids singing the Happy Birthday song.


We played The Birthday Turtle for Gracie—but she was unimpressed.

The Birthday Turtle





The Birthday Turtle has appeared at many Turtlesinger Shows and also private birthday parties for turtle lovers. The big candle on the turtle also lights up (easier to see in the dark)!


The Birthday Turtle was a birthday gift to me, The Turtlesinger from Turtletoter Charlie many years ago.

The Birth-Ray Girl



Gracie and Rocky like to spend winter afternoons catching rays on our warm sunroom floor.


Rocky is never far behind Gracie, and can sometimes be TOO attentive. But The Birthday Girl can take care of herself, and if Rocky gets too amorous (male turtle suitors can be incredibly physically pushy and demanding), she’ll RAM him with her strong shell!
