ANNOUNCING THE TWELFTH CAPE MAY COUNTY BENEFIT MOTORCYCLE POKER RUN FOR THE TURTLES
All Proceeds Benefit Turtle Conservation
Sunday, June 28, 2015, motorcycle riders, people riding in cars, and turtle lovers anywhere can come together
in the pursuit of peace for earth's most ancient living reptile:  the turtle.
Karen and Charlie Buckley (who ride a BMW and are known as
the Turtlesinger and Turtletoter) are sponsoring this ninth
benefit  motorcycle "stop and go" event during diamondback
terrapin nesting season so that motorcyclists can help the
turtles cross the roads in order to save them and raise
awareness of these and other Cape May County  turtles.  Other
turtles the riders have seen during the drive (maps will be
provided) are snapping turtles, box turtles, mud turtles,
red-bellied turtles, and more.  The event will feature a poker run,
with turtle tokens to pick up at each stop!
All proceeds for this event will go to Turtlesinger, Inc., the Turtle
Run Host and a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.  Turtlesinger,
Inc.'s mission is to entertain and educate the public about
turtles with live turtles and/or original songs.  Turtlesinger, Inc.
accomplishes this mission by reaching every facet of the
community with award-winning, public turtle education
programs in schools, libraries, nursing homes, preschools,
camps, nature centers, churches, and more.
Registration for the event will take place from 10:00 A.M. to
11:00 A.M. at Kindle Ford in Cape May Court House. Fees are
$25 per rider (not bike), $15 for kids 12 and under (under 6
free).  The fee includes free turtle pins & t-shirts for the first 100
registrants, poker run tour map, and afternoon social (endless
food and soda) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (cash bar).  A $5.00
discount is being offered to all riders who preregister prior to
June 21, 2015 and to riders who have joined us in prior years!
Pre-registration is encouraged.  For a registration form, click
