The Second Annual Cape May County Benefit Motorcycle Poker Run for the Turtles
		With picture perfect weather this year, our second annual event drew 21 bikes!  Here are photos you can CLICK TO ENLARGE.  We've chosen the "Old Glory" background for our page this year in honor of Cape May County's RWBFR (Red-White-Blue Freedom Riders) motorcycle club, winners of this year's trophy for Club Most Represented at our run. Thanks very much to all you RWBFR riders who came out for the event this year, as well as everyone else who attended.  Mark your calendars for next year's Turtle Run:  Sunday, June 19, 2005!  Hope to see you all next year, and bring a friend!
		Karen & Charlie Buckley, hosts for the Turtle Run, place their BMW at the entrance to Kindle Ford with a turtle balloon to let riders know they've found the right place.			Riders line up at Kindle Ford in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, to register for the Turtle Run from 11 a.m. to noon.  We couldn't have done it without the help of Kate Liddle (pictured in foreground).
		Riders assemble into groups prior to departure.			Maryaurelia Newlin holds a diamondback terrapin, the kind of turtle riders saw most on the run, while John Paulsen looks on.  This was one of the guest terrapins on hand from The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor.
		The first group of riders departs for the first leg of the Poker Run.
					Riders arrive at Poker Stop #3 of 4 at the Seaville Tavern to pick up another turtle token to turn in for cards at Two Mile Landing, the final destination.
		Gloucester County's 4-H Skin and Scales Herpetology Club made it their mission to help turtles this year, and raised funds for the Turtle Run.
					A Skin and Scales Herpetology Club member presents the oversized check to Charlie Buckley, co-host of the Run for the Turtles, at an awards ceremony during the social at Two Mile Landing in Wildwood Crest.
